When Mark's midlife crisis took the form of writing speculative fiction at a very slow pace, he decided to chronicle the results (including book reviews, laying bare his struggles against procrastination and perhaps the odd writing tip).
A place to collect all my bookish thoughts and share author interviews and guest posts.
Hi! My name is Kate. I am a reader. I work in a bookynook. I write books, too. My first published novel, Three Things About Daisy Blue, will be out with Allen and Unwin in October (Hurrah!)
Book reviews and recommendations of a self confessed book addict. I focus on mainly on reviews of books written by Australian writers, due to my work as an editor on The Australian Women Writers Challenge.
I’m a Canadian book lover who’s working my way through as many countries and books as I possibly can. I’ve recently moved to Melbourne, Australia from London, UK with The Englishman and can’t say for sure which country I’ll be living in a year from now. I sell books by day and read/eat/run voraciously by night.
I’m a reader, runner and traveller (not necessarily in that order). So this blog will probably contain musings on all three. First and foremost, I want this to be a book blog. After being inspired (read: pestered) by my boyfriend (henceforth known as The Englishman) and a fellow bookseller/lover (Tsudokinst), I’ve decided to join the book blogging community – a community I’ve been a happy voyeur of for many years now. I’m hoping to use this blog to keep a more lasting and meaningful record of the books I’ve read along with connecting with fellow book-lovers. Enjoy!
My Reading List: A Bookcrosser's Love of Reading ... And Other Book-Related Things.
This is what the title says, and normally, it's pretty much what I do. I talk about books and reading, bookstores and other book-related things that go along with just about anyone's reading list... to make my reading list yours. It's very much a nice read and I ask my public questions to keep them with me - to encourage them to comment, but I don't get many who do. I guess I have a shy crowd. My Reading List is also translatable... making it easier for anyone in the world to plug into it.
I am a desperate seeker of happily-ever-afters but since life rarely offers those anymore, I feed my imagination and seeks solace in great books. I read a number of genres, but a love story must be an essential component of any book I decide to read. I review honestly, fairly and believe that a good review is meant to inspire rather than disparage.
In this blog I will post news about my own writing and upcoming releases, review books by other writers and comment on life and writing in general

A young adult literature review and interview blog where honesty is valued and snark is never far behind.

I choose a genre a month and do 4 highlighted reviews and a smattering of 'in the mood for' reviews
Young adult novel reviews, including new releases and popular series'.
Reactions to Reading is primarily a place for me to review the books I read with the occasional opinion piece or meme post thrown in
It focuses on all types of YA books, from realistic to paranormal. Reviews, interviews, giveaways, news and more!
I have always enjoyed reading so I thought that I would share this love of reading with my desire to begin a blog. This has given rise to the blog you are currently reading.
The genres that I read have changed over the years coinciding with me getting older. I will read fiction (historical, Christian and Christian romance, YA, humour, some crime, graphic novels) and non-fiction (most non-fiction genres). I prefer the print version of books but I'm quite open to reading ebooks as well.
I'm hoping that this blog will allow me to publish honest reviews of books (If I don't like a book I will be totally honest, maybe brutally, with my comments) as well as giving people some ideas for possible reading material.
Readability is like a casual chat about books with a friend that is a little obsessed with reading - from the latest releases to forgotten classics. It looks at a book’s readability, and all the other things that matter to readers.
