2015 Book Challenges
« on: December 03, 2014, 02:12:53 PM »
Suzie asked me to start a thread that allows everyone to add/promote their 2015 book reading challenges - ones you're hosting yourself or ones you plan to join in or even just ones that look interesting, but not for you right now.

To get started try A Novel Challenge - they collect & promote book challenges - http://novelchallenges.blogspot.com.au/

Some of my favourites are:

ShelleyRae's Eclectic Reader Challenge - https://bookdout.wordpress.com/challenges/eclectic-reader-challenge-2015/
Adam's TBR Pile Challenge - http://roofbeamreader.com/2014/11/24/announcing-the-official-2015-tbr-pile-challenge/
What's in a Name Reading Challenge - http://wormhole.carnelianvalley.com/whats-in-a-name-2015-sign-up-post/
Read It Again Sam - http://wormhole.carnelianvalley.com/whats-in-a-name-2015-sign-up-post/

Behold the Stars is hosting a new challenge called Reading England - http://beholdthestars.blogspot.com.au/2014/11/reading-england-2015.html
as is Fanda - Literary Movement Reading Challenge - http://klasikfanda.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/literary-movement-reading-challenge.html

There are many, many, many more.
Please add your favourites below :-)

I love the insane challenge except for the romance bit, that's just a bit too hard for me. Everything else looks really good.

That's the point; The challenge was designed to push people into trying at least one book in every genre per year.

I know it's the point and I can look at every single genre in that list with some equanimity but romance eludes me. I suspect I wouldn't make it beyond the first few pages.
