Triberr
« on: August 30, 2014, 10:18:45 AM »
I'm @frellathon I tend to use triberr to share others posts which in turn gets my posts tweeted much more though I have far too many bots following me and I'm not really sure how to take advantage of it the way others seem to be able

I've been wondering if I should use something like triberr to help promote my blog, I wonder if it is worth checking out.

I have a blogger friend who loves Triberr, but then he posts almost every day. Triberr works well when you do that. I post much less frequently, so it never did enough for me. My friend has thousands of followers now, IIRC.

You could just do what I do and make it up as you go along.

That is what I'm doing. As far as Triberr goes, I haven't experienced any benefits yet but it has potential to being a good system for sharing posts and gaining traffic. I'm not going to auto tweet everything I see, but have been tweeting interesting posts, and they have a scheduling system which means I'm not tweeting everything at once which I like.

If I can find great bloggers, I think this will work for me. Too bad there isn't a way to search your twitter list and find people you follow to follow on Triberr

Triberr has been helpful to me in that I get more exposure to authors by tweeting other peoples posts. I also get my authors posts exposed to more people and they appreciate that. It's of benefit to everyone

my only problem is finding posts worth sharing, I'm not impressed with the level of bookish posts I've found so far.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Triberr?

I know I could just google it & find out...which is probably what I will do when I get off here...but I just thought I'd ask :-)

It's a site that is designed to help share and promote blog posts. It is a weird system, the concept is good but I haven't found too many decent bloggers there.

Sounds like a non-gender specific BlogHer perhaps??
